About CheyLoCreations
About Me
Inspiration + Philosophy
As a new mom, it was important to me that I give my baby the best start possible; I wanted to
use products that would help me be the best mom I could be.  When I couldn't find the right
products, I decided to make them myself.   I know I am not the only parent out there who wants
to nurture their baby naturally, so I now offer these products to you!  I am able to meet my
daughter's needs, and my own, while doing something I enjoy.  I love sharing my favorite
parenting tools with new moms and dads like you!

As my daughter has grown, she has continued you to inspire me, so my product line has
grown too!  CheyLoCreations still offers great baby products, and now also carries fun
products for toddlers and preschoolers and great things for the whole family too!

Parenting isn't always glamorous, but it is certainly rewarding. CheyLoCreations products can
help you handle the underbelly of parenting:  middle of the night wake-ups, post-meal spit
ups, clingy-baby episodes, all-night colic events, toddler tantrums, nursing crises, and general
parenting meltdowns.   When you buy handmade, quality products for your little one, you have
the peace of mind that comes from knowing that  you are providing the best in quality for your
family, while preserving your style, and sanity!
I am really not wild about these "about me" type things...I think that's why I love doing arts
and crafts shows...my customers can meet me, and there can be a personal connection
without worry about how to word things so it flows right.  However, since I believe that a very
important part of buying handmade is to establish a connection with the artist...I will give it a
shot.  Here are some basic and some more obscure things about me that you might (or
might not) want to know!

I am a 23 year old mama, wife, artist, designer, business owner, homebirther, seamstress
and painter.  I am a new hobby attempting, extended breastfeeding, babywearing,
attachment parenting, brown loving, baby signing, co-sleeping, garage sale-ing, recycling,
family-loving, watching my daughter growing woman.  I have read books, dreamed dreams,
lost a child,  written poetry, found my way, married the prince, enjoyed a child, built a
business and lived life.

I have been blessed with an amazing husband who loves me and our family, a beautiful
1 1/2 year old daughter who is the light of my life, a supportive family and a job I love and
that makes a difference in others' lives.  Thank you for sharing the journey with me.
